I have owned an Aston Arms Condo since 2020 and I have found that Penco management has been very attentive and has address any concern I have had in a timely fashion, even after hours. I appreciate the quick response from their team and have personally dealt with Debbie Marchiano and she has always been friendly, helpful and professional.~Teresa

Debbie is a true professional who is always looking out for everyone’s best interests. Working as a Realtor alongside of Debbie is a joy because I know that she cares as much about a transaction as I do.

Rick Myers from Penco has been such a great partner and community manager for our Byers Station community. Rick is responsive, takes our concerns to heart and tries to find a solution that is a win-win for our residents and our community. I also appreciate his transparent, frequent communications, which keeps our very large community engaged and informed.

The job of a community manager for a large HOA is a challenging occupation. Tonya Davenport came into our community with positive energy, familiarity with our by-laws and insightful communications. She is continually coming up with events from pool parties, food truck events, contests and more to bring our community together. She responds promptly to communications, treats all owners fairly and has had a very positive influence on our neighborhood. Tonya exceeds in all the traits you would want in a superior community manager. We are extremely fortunate to have her representing Windsor Ridge.

Recently my wife and I had the opportunity to meet and work with Rick Myers from Byers Station in Chester Springs, PA on a landscaping issue. He responded to our email immediately and came out to our home right away to see the problem for himself. He quickly evaluated the situation, proposed a plan, and began the process. What a pleasure working with Rick! He is friendly, approachable, and accommodating. He has integrity and a refreshing work ethic. We cannot thank him enough for his assistance, especially in such a timely manner. We give him 5+ stars ( if it were possible, we'd give him 10)! Thank you so much!

My image of PENCO Management Co is the impressions I have of my kind friend Debbie Marchiano. I have known her for decades. Debbie is an incredibly capable, knowledgeable and helpful community manager. She is client-focused and action-oriented. Debbie responds to requests more quickly than any other community manager I have ever met in my 44 years of real estate involvement as an owner and as an investor. PENCO is fortunate to have such an amazing ambassador as Debbie.(Balmoral)

I needed help with my account being setup and Rick Myers was extremely helpful throughout the process. He kept in touch with me via email throughout the process, answering all questions and promptly responding back. He even called me back a few times to keep me informed throughout the process. Much appreciated. Thanks Rick!

I want to personally write about my experience with Rick Myers who has recently become the manager of Byers Station. I’ve lived here for 18 years and I can honestly say he is the first person in this role that is responsive! He has been so helpful in the short time he’s been here. I wrote to him about an issue yesterday and he emailed me back at night! On his own free time. Than he left me a message this morning telling me what he planned to do about it. I’m really impressed with his work ethic, his dedication to his job and this community and I’m glad he’s been brought on board. Thank you Rick! Finally someone who is making a big difference here!

I'm having a very enjoyable time getting to know members in the community! I'm a vendor (Bohn's Bones Arts)and working with Tonya has been great. She's provided great directions to the clubhouse and the setup and takedown have been stress free. The advertising has been phenomenal! Thank you for the opportunity to work with you!

We wanted to share some important information and resources from trusted sources regarding bird health, especially as we enter the spring migration season. Please keep in mind that things may change as we move forward, so it’s a good idea for each Bird Town to stay in touch with their local health departments and official sources for the latest updates.

As you may know, birds can carry diseases like Avian Influenza, commonly referred to as Bird Flu, which can affect not only other birds but also wildlife and even people. So, it’s vital to be cautious when handling birds—whether they’re alive or dead—and when cleaning your bird feeders. We encourage you to follow the safety recommendations provided by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the PA Game Commission, which are highlighted below.

If you come across any sick or dead wild birds, please report them to the PA Game Commission at 1-833-PGC-WILD (742-9453).

Here are some key safety tips to keep in mind:

1. Keep Your Distance:It can be tempting to get close for a better look or photo, but it’s best to observe wild birds from afar—especially waterfowl, shorebirds, and poultry. Avoid touching birds, their droppings, or nests.

2. Wear Protective Gear:If you’re working with birds in a rehabilitation setting or cleaning up bird droppings, make sure to wear gloves, masks, and appropriate clothing to keep yourself safe. And remember to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water afterward!

3. Clean Your Feeders Regularly:Bird feeders can spread illness, so it’s essential to keep them clean. Scrub off any debris and soak them in a solution of 10% bleach and water for about 10 minutes to kill any germs. Rinse well with hot water and let them dry before refilling.

4. Stay Updated:Keep an eye on local health authority announcements regarding bird flu in your area. If you hear about an outbreak nearby, it might be wise to pause any birdwatching activities, especially in places where infected birds have been spotted.

5. Avoid Sick Birds:If you see a sick or dead bird, don’t touch it. Instead, report it to local wildlife authorities so they can investigate.

6. Practice Good Hygiene:If you’ve been in areas where birds or wildlife are present, always wash your hands with hot, soapy water and disinfect any gear you’ve used.

Thank you for your attention, and let’s all do our part to keep our feathered friends safe while enjoying the beauty of nature!

More snow, ice, and sleet are coming our way …

Please be careful and make sure you are aware of your responsibilities for treatment of ice and snow.

Remember if your Association handles snow removal, plows and shovels typically don’t drop or have services occur unless 2” accumulate and this storm is more of a nuisance storm than a storm we can expect to see this accumulation.

Stay warm and safe.
